Ingredients
- •12 leaves pickled cabbage leaves (varza murata)
- •200 g rice (medium grain)
- •250 g mushrooms (finely chopped)
- •1 large onion (finely diced)
- •1 medium carrot (grated)
- •2 tsp sweet paprika
- •1 tsp smoked paprika
- •2 leaf bay leaves
- •400 ml tomato passata
- •2 tbsp dill (chopped)
- •3 tbsp sunflower oil
- •1 to taste salt and pepper
Steps
- 1.Sauté onion + carrot 5 min.
- 2.Add mushrooms, sweat 4 min.
- 3.Stir in rice, sweet paprika, smoked paprika, bay; cook 1 min.
- 4.Wrap 2 tbsp filling per cabbage leaf.
- 5.Layer rolls in pot with passata + broth to cover.
- 6.Simmer 75 min on low.
- 7.Top with dill before serving.
